Post 3: This Week in Science (MY FANTASY HABITAT !)

In science the first thing we did was went to www.frbloggin.blogspot.com and chose a animal we wanted to research about. Also we looked up biotic, a biotic, the food they eat, and other information. The next thing we did is we look up picture an drew and colored a picture of our animal.

In science I learned a bunch of stuff. One thing I learned is the definition of the words biotic, a biotic, and biome. Biotic means living things. A biotic means non-living things. And biome means a large area with distinct features (ex/plants and animals)

Post 2: THIS WEEK IN SCIENCE (Frog Dissection)

THIS IS A PICTURE OF ASHLEY EXPLAINING THE INSTRUCTION AS WE DISSECT THE FROG. I chose this picture because it show me and my group reading the instructions before dissecting.

I CHOSE THIS PICTURE BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE INSIDES OF THE FROG AFTER SLICING IT OPEN.

I CHOSE THIS PICTURE BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE INSIDE OF THE FROG AGAIN BUT THIS TIME IT'S A BIT MORE OPEN SO YOU GET A BETTER LOOK INSIDE

I CHOSE THIS PICTURE BECAUSE IT SHOWS ME AND MY GROUP BEGINNING TO CUT OUT THE INSIDES OF THE FROG TO OBSERVE THEM BETTER.

I CHOSE THIS PICTURE BECAUSE IT SHOWS ME SLICING OPEN THE FROG'S MOUTH TO OBSERVE THE TEETH AND TONGUE.

This week in science I researched about frogs ! Also I customized my blog. Another thing I did was dissected a frog and identified the organs, removed them, and took pictures. After that I posted the pictures, which you can find on my blog with mini captions.


This week in science I learned a lot of stuff ! I learned that there are 2,700 species of frogs exist in the world. Also that adult frogs are only about 9.8mm. Another thing I learned was that some frogs can leap 20 times their body length in a single hop !


I always had a thing for frogs but I never realized how interesting they really were. when my class found out that we were dissecting frogs in science class mostly all of my class mates where really grossed out. But not me ! I ready an willing to try anything.

WHEN I THINK OF FROGS I THINK "RIBET" AND FLIES. I WAS TALKING WITH ESMERALDA AND I TOLD HER "FROGS EAT FLIES RIGHT?...DO YOUR THINK WE'LL FIND A FLY IN THERE STOMACH?!!!
